Loc Appreciation Day Lagos, 2015 - What went down.

Hello Y'all,

Call this one a major throw back. Loc Appreciation Day, 2015 was exactly 4 months ago today but the memories remain fresh on my mind. Lagos participated again this year and the atmosphere was live! We were hardly able to stick to the programme as attendees couldn't wait to mingle and network.

Hair How To: The Duo Buns with inverted top bun

Happy Sunday beautiful people, Excited to show you another loc-do how to. As usual, I posted the picture below on the Locitude Instagram page and I got a few comments suggesting I replicate it. I thought to myself challenge accepted! The loc-do looks like two donut buns, which is supposedly simple but note that the top bun is inverted. So let's take care of the easy part first. I've always known how to do a donut, but just incase you don't know how, I found a video (below) that shows you how to get the perfect donut bun. Now that we are done with the basics of how to get a donut bun let's do a step by step on how to get the full loc hairstyle: 1. A Decade of Locs - Who am I?

Hello there, It has been more than a minute on the blog and social media generally, I know; but I won't bore you with promises of not going missing again 'cos I have been as unpredictable as 2020. As unpredictable as I can be, I realize I have an ability to follow through eventually. So, I am hanging on to my strengths rather than my weaknesses 😊 and writing this post. For as long as I can remember having my locs, I have always imagined that one day when my locs are long enough, I would take a picture rising out of the ocean with my hair as my top covering. I have spoken a lot about this over the years. Fam, I did it!!! On one hand, my boobs cooperated, they chilled on sagging and my locs eventually caught up. On the other hand, I also wanted rock hard abs, more like a tummy as flat as a drawing board while that didn't happen, my tummy is not an eyesore, right? I sucked belle. I tried, honestly I really tired. Unfortunately, I won't be sharing the topless picture...
