Product review: Jamaican Mango and Lime Sproil Oil

Hey peeps,

If I have said it anywhere before that I have a favourite product which isn't The Jamaican Mango and Lime Sproil Oil then I lied, forgive me. It is. I must sound so patronizing starting a review with so much hype but believe me Sproil Oil does it for me.

I first picked the product off a shelf in beauty supply store randomly whilst I was still in my baby locs phase, and it did wonders for my locs. The packaging reads as follows...

* Strengthens & Protects
* Conditions locs
* Lubricates scalp
* Brilliant Shine

And wallahi, it does exactly what it says. The part that trips me the most is the strengthening, it's almost instant. I had issues with split ends in my awkward phase and Sproil oil helped me through most of it until I couldn't find it in stores anymore :(. There's also no hardness to the strengthening of your locs strands, there's a balance, your loc strands still feel conditioned. A few sprays is what is needed for a full loc head and you've got  a shine back, making your locs look nice and fresh even if they aren't.

Sproil oil also has a tingle feel to it, same with the Mango and Lime Shampoo; so instead of seeing just oil on your scalp, there's also a feel good feeling to it. You know what I mean.

Watch out though, the Sproil oil can be very oily if not used minimally and the smell isn't as yummy as the Island oil, it has a menthol-ly twist to it. Not offensive and at the same time it's not a perfume.

So let's score the Sproil oil.

Function: Excellent
Smell: VeryGood
Feeling: Excellent
Texture: Very Good.

On a scale of 1 - 10, I whole heartedly will grade the oil as a 9.9. I love it that much... There you have it. My personal favourite loc product ever.

Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below if you have used it and if you haven't please try. I have some available in stock at the moment so hit me up on 08189001122 or check out the Locitude store on Konga.com. www.konga.com/Locitude.

That's it for now folks, always remember to keep it loc'd with an attitude.

Your Loc Head
Ade.

I can go on and on... but instead I present you with 7 Style Ideas for short locs. #LocInspiration no. 1: Loc loops or Loc petals. Hello, #TGIF #ItsTheWeekendBaby #PhotoShootModeActivated #Locitude #HairHowTo #LocsAndAttitude #LocWorkshop #ComingSoon #OkReadBelow. I'm obviously excited, payments for my shipment on brand new dada products stock has finally gone through (It is not easy to be a Nigerian #That'sAll), now waiting for the products to get here. I hope it doesn't take forever. I found this FREE accounting app called waves app, which is helping keep my spend together. I usually get excited when I learn new stuff, so yaaaayi. Seems this hobby is becoming a business sooner than I imagined. Sorry back to the Loc loop Tutorial... Step 1: Select two strands of locs close to each other. (You can use only one strand of loc only or 3-4 depending on how thick your locs are) Step 2: Take the ends of your strands, fold them towards the roots making a loop Step 3: Fasten the base of the loop with a tiny rubber band. Make sure it's not too tight. Step 4: Style to your taste ...

Product Review: Jamaican Mango and Lime Island Oil

Hello people, Skip next paragraph if you don't have time for my guilt trip . A come back post is always a weird thing; not knowing where to start or how to apologize for not updating my blog for so long sometimes prolongs the come back itself. So I'm back, and I hope I still know how to write :). Ok Ok, I'm so sorry for not posting for so long and I would really try to maintain a schedule for updating my blog. I promise I would try. I have been trying out loads of new stuff lately which I would save for some future post but today I want to review one of my all time favorites, the Jamaican Mango and Lime Island Oil.
